Learn French Online
As you may or may not know, I have decided to learn French online. After reading a few books a couple of years ago, I became inspired to pursue a path toward self-improvement. An evolution of sorts, I guess. Learning French is just the next stage of that evolution.
Now the reason for choosing to learn French online was simple. It came down to my schedule and money. I'm too busy to be able to take a formal class and be there at a specific time. With that in mind, the only alternative I had was to choose a home study course.
Next was money. Of the home study courses I researched, only the Rocket French program wouldn't break my piggy bank. It offers you the chance to learn French online with its downloadable language program. The $99.00 I paid was better than the $700 others were offering. Rocket French also has a $299.95 version but it was exactly the same as the downloadable one so I pocketed that extra $200.95!
So far it is working out great! The thing I like most about the program is that it contains both audio lessons and software to build your vocabulary. The audio is very clear and easy to follow. This is the first new language that I am really putting forth an effort to learn. As such, the fact that this program is easy to follow has made a big difference. Anyway, I have decided to learn French online and I think I will be ready to make my trip to Europe soon. I, for one, will not be one of those tourists who expects the world to speak English=)
